Active Directory Proposal - 757 Words
Active Directory Proposal Users and administrators of the current Windows Domain infrastructure have identified a few problems and concerns with the design. The administration team is proposing a new Active Directory (AD) design that will address some if not all of the identified concerns. This document will detail those concerns, the proposal, and how the proposal addresses those concerns. Concerns Several concerns have been brought to the administration team regarding problems with the current design. Additionally, the administration team has analyzed these concerns and identified three primary concerns that can be better addressed with AD. These concerns reflect issues with productivity loss and reduced security. The first concern is the ability for any user to log into any system on the network. This exposes sensitive corporate and financial documents and programs to unauthorized individuals. While it is possible to restrict domain logins to specific computers, this required more administrative overhead than the business was willing to pay. Secondly, users have complained about the amount of time required for access requests to be performed. This is due to the lack of sufficient administrative resources to rapidly perform these requests. This means that productivity is lost while new or recently transferred employees wait for their access requests to be filled. The third concern is that frequently privileged users have unintentionally made changes to systemsShow MoreRelatedActive Directory Proposal Essay examples777 Words à |à 4 PagesRiordan Manufacturing Active Directory Proposal Introduction The following is a proposal for the implementation of Active Directory within the Riordan Manufacturing organization. Tsar Fyodor Ivanovitch monologue from the play by Alexei Tolstoy Essay Example For Students
Tsar Fyodor Ivanovitch monologue from the play by Alexei Tolstoy Essay A monologue from the play by Alexei Tolstoy NOTE: This monologue is reprinted from The Moscow Art Theatre Series of Russian Plays. Ed. Oliver M. Sayler. New York: Brentanos, 1922. GODUNOFF: Tsar Ivan was like a great volcano, and from the bowels of this volcano came an earthquake which shook all the world, and there would shoot up tongues of flame that carried death and destruction through all the land. Tsar Fyodor is quite different. I would rather compare him to a cleft in a green meadow. Its ruts and hillocks are overgrown with green, silken grass. But if you wander about carelessly, both the shepherd and his flock will fall through the cleft into a precipice. We have a saying that once upon a time a church was swallowed by the earth, and so a hole appeared, and the people call it the ghost church. And there is a rumor that on very quiet days one can hear a distant tolling of bells and chanting of hymns. Fyodor seems to me like such a sainted but unreal church. In his soul he is always frank to friend and foe. His heart is filled with love and kindliness. And it is as though bells tolled gently in his inmost self. But what is the use of all this kindliness and piety since the man has no strength? Seven years have passed since Tsar Ivan swept across Russia like the scourge of God; seven years since with great effort I put stone upon stone to erect a building, that sacred temple, that powerful empire, that new and prosperous Russia of ours, the Russia over which I spent many sleepless nights in thought! But everything is futile! I am building over a precipice! And, in a second, everything can crash into ruins. Should the most insignificant enemy desire it, he could win over the Tsar\s heart, and my own will, with which I steeled his heart, he will forget. I have many foes, and they are not all negligible. You know the insolence of the Nagis and the Shouiskys\ unconquerable pride no, do not interrupt me I respect the Shouiskys but their loyalty is stupid and short-sighted. Their path is prosy and hackneyed; chained they are to the old ideals of loyalty; and with such a Tsar as Fyodor there must be no room for them!

Karl wanted to cleanse himself, he was asking for forgiveness for all the sins he has done. Karl wanted to talk to Simon because he thought he could forgive for the other Jews. Simon just walked out of the room. Karlââ¬â¢s father died in a factory, it was bombed and he passed away only his mother lives. Simon left the Hospital and keeps thinking of the ss manââ¬â¢s crime and if he should have a sunflower. A sunflower symbolized a connection between the living and the dead. Karl isnââ¬â¢t worthy of sympathy and now he regrets it when dying. Before Simon walks out the room, Karl hauntingly recounts his story in the horrifying death of a father, mother, and a dark eyed child who were brutally shot down after jumping out of a burning building. Simon becomes extremely distressed with the images stuck in his head. Simon remembers a six year old boy named Eli, when Karl identified the child. Simon wants to leave the room but Karl keeps recounting the rest of his story. Simon struggles with the ironic dilemma having the image of the child with piercing eyes that questioned the hatred of the world surrounding him. Simon left the ss manââ¬â¢s room in complete silence. Simon returned to his cabin and told Josek (The Rabi) of what happened in the Reserve Hospital. Josek was telling Simon to not forgive the ss man for the other Jews but he can for himself. The Dalai Lama was a religious leader. The Dali Lama was in the same scenario like the Holocaust. China invaded Tibet in 1949 through 1950 and more than 1. 2 million Tibetians, one fifth of the countryââ¬â¢s population. Dalai Lamma said this quote, ââ¬Å"one should forgiveâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ ¦ but this does not necessarily mean one should forget about the atrocities committed. This quote means, forgive but donââ¬â¢t forget. Another quote was, ââ¬Å"we could label the Chinese our enemies and self ââ¬â righteously condemn them for their brutality, that is not the Buddhist way. This quote means that hate and revenge is the wrong decision. Desmond Tu Tu is a South African religious leader. A Genocide like the Holocaust occurred in South Africa to. Desmond Tu Tu quote was, ââ¬Å"But there are others who say that they are not ready to forgive demonstrating that forgiveness is not facile or cheap. This quote means that one simply does not forgive after the horror they endured. This quote also reminds me when Karl asks Simon forgiveness for him and the other Jews. Another quote was, ââ¬Å"without forgiveness there is no future. This quote means if you donââ¬â¢t forgive, anger and hatred will grow and anarchy will be everywhere. To sum things up in the Sunflower Karl wanted to forgive Simon and all the Jews but he didnââ¬â¢t respond to him. If I were Simon I would forgive Karl just to make him feel a little better before death Then I again changed my opinion, to stage where I thought I would forgive him, but only by words, not actually in my mind. I changed my first opinion because of Josek, in the story he said one can forgive someone else only when the person did wrong to him, not to the community.

School Violence Essays (1252 words) - Abuse, Crime,
School Violence It was the week before spring break. Alex Orange, a popular student and football player at West Charlotte High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, was looking forward to spending time with his dad in Tennessee. But that Friday, he decided to stop by a house party being held by the Debonairs, a high school social club. It had been billed as a Stop the Violence Party. Word of the party spread. School would be out soon and students were ready to celebrate. More than two hundred teenagers were dancing, talking and having fun, when some students from a rival high school showed up looking for trouble. They began beating up people with baseball bats. Then Alex saw a man pull out a gun. He grabbed it, but when he lost his grip, the man pointed the gun at him and fired, blasting a hole in his chest. People began to run. Unfortunately, what happened to Alex Orange is not unusual. Homicide is the third leading cause of death for children between the ages of ten and eighteen. And it is the leading killer of African Americans, both male and female, between 14 and 25 (Day 8). There is definitely a problem with school violence today. The last three years have shown us that violence in our schools society is more common today then ever before. People are at the greatest risk of being crime victims during their teenage years. It is not surprising, then that most of these crimes take place in schools. In the time it took you to read to this point, fifteen school crimes were committed. A school crime occurs every 6 seconds (Day 10). Chaudhuri, Page 2 There are many factors that influence and cause violence in schools but the major ones would have to be hatred, caused by racial prejudices or bullying within the school, effects of violence in media on children and the home life of students. Sometimes school violence stems not from a disagreement between students, but from hatred. Hatred not of what someone does but of what someone is. These incidents are referred to as hate crimes because they stem from a hatred of an entire race or ethnic group. According to one survey thirty-four percent of school violence is of a racial or ethnic nature (Day 48). Prejudice is often the result of lack of experience with members of another group. In diverse communities, people grow up knowing members of other groups as individuals, not as faceless stereotypes. Racially mixed communities actually have the lowest levels of racial prejudice. Bullying. It is a familiar story: one kid picking on another for being fat, wearing glasses, or talking funny. This may sound typical but, researchers say it is not accurate. Although victims of bullying may be younger and weaker than the bully, they are not necessarily students who are just different. Bullying has been defined as physical or psychological abuse towards individuals who are not able to defend themselves. It is widespread. In a study of fourth through ninth graders, ninety percent reported being bullied. The most likely victims of bullying are people who are anxious, insecure, cautious, sensitive and quiet. These individuals have poor opinions of themselves and feel stupid, ashamed or unattractive. Most bullies are boys, but girls can be bullies as well. Chaudhuri, Page 3 Many school officials feel that the media play a major role in the increase in school violence. Television programs, movies, video games and even music lyrics are often filled with violent images, violent heroes, and violent acts. Some people think that this has led to an increased acceptance of violence as a way to solve problems. Children see violence in movies and on TV with no ethical context. It is exciting and satisfying to see heroes live and villains die. Nobody ends up in a wheelchair or hospital bed and children may not realize that death is permanent, unalterable, final and tragic (Day 23). Violent video games can also lead children to committing acts of violence against other children and adults. A child who plays violent video games will resort to violence more easily when faced with a problem than a child who has never been exposed to such interactive killing. Video
